Upgrade Spirit

Introduced in the V16 update, the New Upgrading System is now available to you. The Baruna Weapon comes with a new crafting system for upgrading. This new crafting system uses newly introduced items, which will require you to obtain the Upgrade Spirit First. Let’s start with the New Upgrade Spirits

There are 2 ways to obtain the Upgrade Spirit:

  1. By doing the quest dedicated to obtaining a fully tradeable permanent version of it, the quest can be initiated by meeting [Upgrade Specialist] Rutan, located in Eillun Town. You will receive:[Upgrade Spirit] Udi upon completing the chain of quests.
  2. The other way is to purchase them via the Cash Shop [Upgrade Spirit] Piyo, Pierce, and Coby can be bought for the price of 840 CASH..  Keep in mind that all 4 Upgrade Spirits function the same. Only they differ in appearance.

Baruna System

To upgrade Baruna Weapon / Armor, you will need the Stone of Balance. Blessing of Baruna or Ultimate Blessing of Baruna

Note that it’s safe to upgrade without the blessings until +2, and after that it’s recommended to use Blessing of Baruna until +10 and the rest of the upgrading to use Ultimate Blessing of Baruna.

Creating Crystal of Order

They can be crafted and or picked up from all monsters. Items needed:

  • Crystal Pieces dropped by all Masquerpets.
  • Potion of Binding is sold by the General’s NPC located in Eilluin Town.
  • Upgrade Spirit.

There’s another process of crafting the Crystal of Order

It will require you to have x10 of the following items:

  1. Remnants of Order.
  2. Fragments of Order.
  3. Splinters of Order.
  4. Shards of Order.
  5. Pieces of Order.

Example: To get Fragments of Order, you will need x10 Remnants of Order and x1 Inferior Potion of Binding, resulting in 1x Fragments of Order.

Extract Dregs of Chaos from items

To obtain the Dregs of Chaos / Chaos Gem, you will need the following:

  1. Any blue-type weapons or armor parts for the destruction process
  2. Spirit Upgrade

By clicking the 2nd option in your Upgrade Spirit (Extract Chaos Stone) and placing  any blue weapon/armor to have a chance of getting Dregs of Chaos or Chaos Gem as the video shows:

Chaos Gem Crafting

To Craft Chaos Gem you will need the following:

  1. Dregs of Chaos
  2. Tar of Chaos, which can be bought from the General NPC located in Eilluin
  3. Upgrade Spirit

For this process, you have to click the 3rd option on your Upgrade Spirit (Create Chaos Gem) and combine these items to create Chaos Gem

Stone of Balance

The Stone of Balance is acquired through crafting or from masquerpets. To craft a Stone of Balance, one needs the following items:

  • Crystal of Order made through crafting
  • Chaos Gem made through Extraction
  • Bareum Powder sold by NPC
  • Upgrade Spirit

Note: This phase can not fail.

Proceed to your Upgrade Spirit and click on the option “Create Stone of Balance and combine all the 3 materials in to get the final result which is Stone of Balance
